Our co-hosts ask a leading journalist to describe the one homeland security issue we should focus upon during the coming week. This week's interview is with Peter Finn, Moscow correspondent for The Washington Post. Before moving to Russia in the summer of 2004 he was based in Berlin for four years and covered international terrorism.

Karen Urban is senior systems security analyst at K2Share,
which uses information technology to solve problems for business
clients. The company specializes in systems engineering and
integration, managed services, and e-learning solutions. Before joining
KShare, Urban spent two decades in banks and finance. She will discuss
the challenges of cyber security.

Dr. Eric Toner is
a senior associate at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center's
Center for Biosecurity and author of several articles on flu protection
during a pandemic. He discusses news coverage of the scare caused by a tuberculosis patient who flew aboard an airliner.
4. Outside the Beltway
Dr. Dawn D. Blackmar, DVM, director of veterinary health for Harris County Public Health & Environmental Services
in Houston, Texas. She will discuss the challenges of protecting the
public from zoonoses: infectious diseases that may transmitted from
animals to humans.
5. Wild Card
Stan Supinski is director of partnership programs for the Naval Postgraduate School's Center for Homeland Defense and Security.
CHDS makes available through the partnership its curriculum, distance
learning technology, Homeland Security Digital Library, and all other
resources. In return, partners share their curriculum and specialized
expertise. This provides a cost-effective way to educate thousands of
students beyond the NPS campus.
